Clinical Intake Coordinator
The Dee Norton Child Advocacy Center is seeking an engaging and dependable Clinical Intake Coordinator to ensure that all requests for services are triaged appropriately in a caring and professional manner. This individual is responsible for coordinating the intake process and direct case management services to ensure optimal client engagement, internal case coordination, and access to appropriate services needed to meet the needs of children and families referred to the Dee Norton Child Advocacy Center. The individual hired for this position will be assigned to serve the Clinical and Forensic Services Team in our down town (King Street) location. A bachelor’s degree in social work or related human services field and knowledge of child abuse dynamics and community resources is required; Master’s in clinical counseling and bilingual in English-Spanish preferred.

Director of Operations
The Dee Norton Child Advocacy Center is seeking an energetic, collaborative professional to join our team. The Director of Operations will work at both a strategic and tactical level to provide oversight and management of operational activities for Dee Norton locations in Charleston and Mount Pleasant, SC. This position will focus on process-creation and process-improvement to implement tools that streamline, improve and automate (when helpful) processes and operational functions. Early priority areas will include improvements to records request processes and establishing quality improvement methods across service locations.

The position requires a Bachelor’s Degree and 5 years of professional experience, with at least 3 years of experience working directly with children and families (experience with child maltreatment/child welfare preferred). This position comes with a full benefits package. This position’s primary office will be at the Charleston location, though regular time in the Mount Pleasant office will be expected.

Chief Financial Officer (Contract, Part-time)
The Dee Norton Child Advocacy Center is seeking a talented, collaborative contract/fractional Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our team. The Contract CFO directs and coordinates administrative, financial, risk management and HR related operations of the company, including but not limited to: development of financial and operational strategy; metrics tied to that strategy; ongoing development and monitoring of control systems designed to preserve company assets; reporting accurate financial results; and ensuring accounting procedures are in compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).

The Dee Norton Child Advocacy Center is an accredited member of National Children’s Alliance and is the region’s leading resource to prevent abuse, protect children and heal families. Primary services include forensic interviews, medical examinations and mental health assessments as well as immediate support and coordination. The center also provides evidence-based therapy to child victims and their families. Since opening in 1991, we have helped more than 28,000 children.  We have locations in Charleston (reopening Summer 2019) and Mount Pleasant, SC.  This position’s primary office will be at the Charleston location and is expected to be approximately 16 hours per week.

Child Advocate/Receptionist
The Dee Norton Child Advocacy Center is seeking a warm and energetic Child Advocate/Receptionist to ensure that all clients, visitors and community partners are received and directed appropriately in a caring and professional manner. In addition, this individual is responsible for ensuring safety, supervision, and support for children in the waiting area. A high school diploma and experience working in customer service and working with children is required; Bilingual in English-Spanish preferred.

In addition, this individual is responsible for conducting mental health and caregiver assessments to determine appropriate services for children and families referred to Dee Norton.  The individual hired for this position will be assigned to serve the Clinical and Forensic Services Team in our Mount Pleasant location. A bachelor’s degree in social work or related human services filed and experience working in customer service and working with children is required; Master’s in clinical counseling and bilingual in English-Spanish preferred.
