Senior Administrative Assistant
Dee Norton is hiring a full-time Senior Administrative Assistant to facilitate day to day operations of the Center. The position will be based at our location at 677 Long Point Road, Mount Pleasant, SC. The Senior Administrative Assistant ensures the facility is running smoothly and also assists with client records management, donor records, and other administrative tasks to support the Leadership Team of the Dee Norton Child Advocacy Center.
The Dee Norton Child Advocacy Center is seeking a Communications Coordinator responsible for developing and implementing effective communications and engagement efforts that support and advance the mission of the Center. The Communications Coordinator will oversee an integrated program that includes print publications, social media, and online communication, ensuring that all messaging reflects the brand in a consistent, relevant manner. Additionally, he/she will work with donor stewardship and retention.
The Dee Norton Child Advocacy Center is seeking a detail-oriented, collaborative Conference Coordinator to plan and execute the annual Charleston Child Trauma Conference (CCTC). Designed to bridge science and practice to elevate the child maltreatment field, the CCTC draws a multidisciplinary audience of more than 300 professionals from 32 states. This individual, in direct collaboration with the CCTC Steering Committee, plans all aspects of the conference and maintains an internal process flow that allows for the successful execution of the CCTC. A bachelor’s degree and previous experience in event planning and/or conference coordination are required. This is a part-time position expected to be approximately 20 hours per week.
The Dee Norton Child Advocacy Center is seeking an engaging and collaborative Therapist/Forensic Interviewer to conduct forensic interviews and provide trauma-focused mental health assessments and treatment to children and families referred to the Dee Norton Child Advocacy Center. This individual will be trained in nationally recognized forensic interview protocols and evidence-based treatment models designed to assess and treat child traumatic stress. The individual hired for this position will be assigned to serve the Clinical and Forensic Services Team in our down town (King Street) location. A master’s degree in social work or clinical counseling and knowledge of child abuse dynamics and community resources is required; bilingual in English-Spanish preferred.
Clinical Intake Coordinator
The Dee Norton Child Advocacy Center is seeking an engaging and dependable Clinical Intake Coordinator to ensure that all requests for services are triaged appropriately in a caring and professional manner. This individual is responsible for coordinating the intake process and direct case management services to ensure optimal client engagement, internal case coordination, and access to appropriate services needed to meet the needs of children and families referred to the Dee Norton Child Advocacy Center. The individual hired for this position will be assigned to serve the Clinical and Forensic Services Team in our down town (King Street) location. A bachelor’s degree in social work or related human services field and knowledge of child abuse dynamics and community resources is required; Master’s in clinical counseling and bilingual in English-Spanish preferred.
